(Because the Townhall Blog gods will not allow the "H" word - a place of fire, I will use the phrase "place of fire.")
Another school shooting has taken place to put another blemish on the face of our country. Sin continues to rear its nasty head once again. The shooter (who is not worthy to be named), has made the excuse for his actions that he was mad at God and he was having sexual thoughts about molesting little girls. This comes after confessing to his wife that 20 years ago he molested younger relatives.
He stated his hate for God and planned an all out offensive against whoever would stand against him. His cowardly acts barred him in a schoolhouse with innocent unarmed Christian children and women. After killing four of them execution style, one dies later at the hospital and five others are in critical condition - he kills himself.
The murder of the children and himself cannot go unpunished by God. God has commuted the death sentence on him by sending him to place of fire. "Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, dissensions, heresies, envy,
murders, drunkeness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God." (Galatians 5:19-21 NKJV)
"But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." (Revelation 21:8)
People who complete suicide will also go to place of fire. The Bible is clear when it says, "Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him." (1 John 3:15) Suicide is self-murder. Even though the word suicide is not in the Bible, the Bible speaks out against murderers. Whether a person murders others or himself it is still murder. Even if you are a "born again Christian" you condemn yourself to place of fire. (go to
www.evangelicaloutreach.org for more on Once Saved Always Saved).
The word suicide was not coined until the 17th Century. This article's purpose is not to only condemn the 'Lancaster Killer', but to warn others that their actions are accountable to God and His Son Jesus Christ.
